This study examined the effect of emotional intelligence skills on academic test anxiety. It aimed to verify the relationship between emotional intelligence scores and the level of test anxiety. 250 student volunteers, aged 17.8 on average, participated in this study. The measurement tools used were the Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i: S) for the emotional intelligence, and the Sarason Test Anxiety Scale (TASC). The results of this study showed a significant effect of emotional intelligence on the level of test anxiety. Which indicates the importance of the role played by the management of emotions in different school situations.
